Celebrating global excellence in animation, the ANN Awards proudly welcome international creators, studios, and students to showcase their finest work across the following categories:

Best International Animated Short Film

Honoring a compelling, creatively animated short film (under 40 minutes) that pushes artistic boundaries and storytelling on a global scale.

Best International Animated Feature Film

Recognizing a full-length animated film (40 minutes or more) that exemplifies excellence in animation, direction, design, and narrative.

Best International Animated Brand Film

Awarding an outstanding branded film or commercial where animation is used to creatively promote a product, idea, or identity.

Best Use of AI in Animation

Acknowledging innovation and creativity in animation workflows, storytelling, or production enabled by Artificial Intelligence tools or techniques.

Best Animated Licensed Character (International)

Celebrating a globally recognized animated character that has successfully extended into licensing, merchandise, or cross-media platforms.

Best Animated Character Merchandise (International)

Recognizing exceptional merchandising strategies and product design around an animated character that resonates with international audiences.

Best Student 2D Animated Film (International)

Awarding excellence in 2D animation by international students that showcases strong design, storytelling, and originality.

Best Student 3D Animated Film (International)

Celebrating technical proficiency and narrative brilliance in 3D animation from international student filmmakers.

Things to Know

Rule & Regulations

To ensure a fair, transparent, and high-quality judging process, all international entrants must adhere to the following guidelines:

The content must be created or co-produced by an international entity (outside India).
All entries must be submitted via the official ANN Awards portal.

Each entry must include:

Title and synopsis of the project (max 300 words)
Director/creator’s name
Downloadable video link or high-quality streaming link (YouTube/Vimeo/Google Drive preferred)
At least 2 high-resolution stills from the project
Submissions must be in English or have English subtitles.
Title cards, credits, and relevant on-screen text must also be in English.

Entry Fee per category: INR 10,000 / USD equivalent

Payment must be completed before the deadline via the official payment portal.
Fees are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by the organizer.

By submitting, entrants grant ANN Awards the right to use excerpts, images, or stills to showcases on stage during awards and to use logo for promotional purpose.
